The easiest way to start drawing in one-point perspective is practicing the basics. Today you should leave class with 4 cubes drawn in the correct perspective. If you finish the 4 cubes then try to draw a letter in one point perspective.
Your drawing should include:
- One vanishing point in the center of the paper
- One horizon line that is parallel to the top and bottom of the paper
- 2 cubes drawn above the horizon line-top and bottom are parallel to the horizon line and the sides of the cube are parallel to the sides of the paper.
- 2 cubes drawn below the horizon line-top and bottom are parallel to the horizon line and the sides of the cube are parallel to the sides of the paper.
- 1 cube on the horizon line-you will not see the top and bottom
