Creative Pears with Shading....

Students in 6th Grade have been studying the Element of Art.  They have drawn pears from life studying how light creates highlights and shadows. In the final lesson they use the same pear but now they can make creative choices adding patterns and color or by turning their pear into a character.  

Learn to Draw Eyes

Use the tutorial below to learn some basic steps to draw an eye.  You can pause the video where needed.  After completing this tutorial try to draw your own eyes using a mirror.

• Bring lunch!!! We will be eating after the gallery visits.  There is an ice cream shop down the road that has offered it's space for us to eat!!  Hot chocolate will be purchased for anyone that would like one.
